Delete your account

From the app

In the AWYA app you can delete your account directly via Profile → Settings → Delete account. Deletion starts once you confirm.

If you cannot reach the app

If you changed your phone or removed the app, write to destek@awya.app with contact details we can reach from the phone number registered to your account. Once we have verified the request we complete it within 30 days.

We cannot act on requests where we are unable to verify your identity. This is to stop someone else from having your account deleted.

What is deleted

Your profile (nickname, year of birth, gender, city, interests)
Your phone number and verification records
Your matches and the messages you sent
Your call history
Your mask settings

What is kept for a while longer

To prevent abuse and protect other users, reports made about you and records relating to an account ban may be kept for a limited period after the account is deleted. Records subject to a statutory retention obligation, if any, are kept for the relevant period.

Everything else is deleted and cannot be restored.
