1. The service

AWYA is a mobile application that lets verified people meet one another. By using the app you accept these terms.

2. Who can use it

Only people aged 18 and over. The information you provide when creating an account must be accurate. Accounts found to belong to someone under 18 are closed.

3. Your account

Your account is personal to you; you may not transfer it or let someone else use it. You are responsible for the security of your phone number.

4. Prohibited behaviour

• Impersonating someone else or creating a fake profile
• Harassment, threats, hate speech, discrimination
• Sending or showing sexual content without consent
• Advertising, fraud, or requesting money or personal information
• Recording or distributing another user’s image without permission
• Reverse engineering, modifying or automating the app

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules without prior warning.

5. About masking

Appearance masking is a tool offered so that you feel comfortable. It is not presented as an absolute guarantee of anonymity: your voice, the way you speak, or the information you share can still make you recognisable. Keep that in mind when deciding what to share.

6. Reporting and blocking

You can block and report any user who makes you uncomfortable. Reports are reviewed and accounts are closed where necessary.

7. Paid features

Some features may be paid. Purchases are made through the app store and refunds are subject to that store’s rules.

8. Liability

AWYA is not responsible for how users behave towards one another. We expect you to exercise reasonable care with the people you meet. The service is provided "as is"; we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Closing your account

You can delete your account at any time (see account deletion). We may also close your account if these terms are breached.
